Eliza Julianne Gunkel…10 lbs 0.4 oz!!!

Well she is finally here after more than 24 hours of labor.  We named our beautiful new angel Eliza Julianne.  Eliza means “God is Bountiful” Julianne is because of her two amazing aunt Julies.

9:18AM Still no baby

The good news is that both Jessica and the Baby are doing well.  The bad news is that she isn’t wanting to come out.  Keep us in your prayers because some of the decisions we are facing are challenging.

labor update

Well Jessica is still in labor.  She is doing well, baby is doing well.  We have been trying rest for the past few hours getting ready for the pushing portion.  She has come along but still has a few more hours to go most likely.

4:06AM Still no baby

We are still here with no baby.  Things are progressing but a little slow.
If you are awake please throw out a prayer that breaking her water ealier doesn’t come back and cause problems.

Labor!

Well our little girl was getting a little big so we decided to induce today.  We have been here at the hospital since 7AM this morning.  Right now Jessica is progressing nicely and definitely starting to feel it.  I will keep you posted here on the blog with updates as I can.  Please be praying [...]
